We are looking for a IT Operations Service Specialist for a permanent and fulltime contract in Graz, Austria.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Keep our IT infrastructure working smoothly and securely
- Manage Linux servers and services, both bare metal and virtualized
- Ensure redundancy and resiliency of our systems
- Work with global IT operations to plan and implement the evolution of our systems
- Take on a lead role in the acquisition of hardware and software
- Level 2 - 3 support for all Linux systems
- Support Service Desk (L1) with related incidents and problem
Experience required:
- 5+ years of experience in Linux IT administration
- Managing and provisioning services like databases, web servers, virtual machines, VPN
- Managing and provisioning the company network
- Solid experience with end user support
- Experience with OpenVPN, WireGuard and similar technologies
- High level view in the following areas:
- Windows OS and basic tools
- Data centers, Office 365 services
- Workplace services, UC services
- Network and security services
Personal competencies:
- Hand-on team player with a high user focus and strong organizational skills
- Good communication skills
- Experience with different levels of end-user support
- Proficiency in English is a requirement
- Proficiency in German would be an additional advantage

Due to legal reasons in Austria, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement IT for this position, which is min. KV ST1 EUR 3455,- gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and experience and therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
